All registered delegates are invited to attend the Welcome Reception, which will be held at the EICC following the Opening Keynote by Francine Shapiro. You will be led from the Pentland Suite, in a Scottish manner... for drinks and canapés in the Cromdale Hall.
Robin Logie ready to dance!
The Hub will provide a splendid setting for our celebratory party. Situated in the city centre, just walking distance from the castle, it is a fine example of a historic Grade A listed building.
Dinner will begin with the spectacle of the Haggis ceremony. Haggis is considered the national dish of Scotland as a result of Robert Burns' poem Address to a Haggis of 1787. After dinner we will dance the night away to music performed by 'The Picts' one of Scotland’s best ceilidh and concert bands. You will have no excuse not to join in the fun of Scottish dancing, as we will have a ‘caller’ to teach us!
To fully enter into the spirit of the night wear something tartan!
